Kirby was very professional and came out right on time to do an estimate on replacing my 46 year old electric furnace with a new Carrier Hi Efficiency gas furnace and I also wanted to add Air Conditioning as well. Kirby looked everything over and answered all of the questions I had, and I had a lot of them too. I also had a problem with my return air duct. For one it was filthy dirty, and it was broke apart in two places and was only taped together and was pulling in attic dirt, heat and cold into the old furnace. Kirby gave me time to do what I wanted to do before a new furnace was set in place. I had Best Heating & Cooling reinstall my return air duct and they screwed it together and foil taped the seams like I wanted it done.
Don’t hesitate to call Best Heating & Cooling because I had 3 other bids done and after talking with Kirby not only did I trusted what he said, Kirby spent the most time with me addressing all my concerns more than any other estimator that showed up. Bottom line is, I got the Carrier products I wanted at a fair price from Best Heating & Cooling.

The team at Best Heating & Cooling did a fantastic job with the whole process of installing a new Carrier Heat Pump system to replace an obsolete oil furnace. Their consultative approach started with timely and professional assessment of specifications required for a new system. When the old oil furnace showed signs of failure and potential danger, they went the extra mile to ensure it worked safely on an interim basis until new equipment could be delivered and installed. Their preparation was proactive with scheduling new equipment installation, and they ensured that the electrical installation met required specifications and was wired to the correct locations.

They did exactly what they said they’d do to temporarily fix the old furnace and install the new system, fully answered our questions, kept us informed of progress and were very pleasant to work with at every step.

Note: We had a nearly identical experience with Best Heating & Cooling 4 years ago. In that case they installed a temporary furnace to provide heat after the old system completely failed in a cold winter month. They have proven more than once that they are in the business of providing solutions and not merely selling products. We were pleased with our experience then, and even more pleased to know that their quality of service was maintained during these more difficult times constrained with supply chain, labor shortage and Covid challenges.

We were impressed with the removal and install process of our furnace and install of our new air conditioner. It was a long difficult job because of the design of our home, but Nick, Blake and Chris got it done. After contacting 8 other furnace companies, Best gave the most thorough proposal and followed up with everything agreed to. We are very happy with Best’s work and would recommend them to anyone.

A Best technician serviced my central AC unit last summer at the height of our heat wave in July, saving me hundreds of $$s after two other companies told me my 5 yo unit needed to be replaced. When my other property needed a furnace service I called Best. Technician Chris suggested it’s age, repair costs and efficiency could easily justify upgrading to a new 95% efficiency unit. A promotion by Carrier, Energy Trust rebate and cash discount made it an easy decision.
When Dillon & Nick arrived for the new install we talked through the entire “remove and replace” process they were going to do, discussed my concerns about venting through my roof and then they got busy. Nick was very knowledgeable, described the steps he was taking and why along the way. Dillon was very efficient in setting up the new unit for install and he too described the steps he was taking. Nick and Dillon were a great team, they arrived promptly at 9AM and were cleaned up and done by 2PM. These two fellows were polite and courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. This may sound corny but “Best Heating” is now my go to company and I have recommended them to my neighbors.

Wonderful experience working with Best Heating. Kirby did a great job explaining the pros and cons of all the different ductless heating units available, the installers were very efficient and professional in their work and took extra time to explain the use of the unit’s remote control in easy to understand terms, and the quality control follow up provided by Chris was very helpful in reminding us of several functionalities of the remote control we hadn’t utilized yet.
